“You might not see it at first, but Ellen Driscoll’s assemblage of “high-density polyethylene” bottles on the floor forms a map of the five largest oil exporters to the U.S. (which is also an oil exporter, go figure). “Oil and Water” makes for an intricate design that includes a model of an oil refinery, connecting water use, petroleum, plastic, and global warming all at once.”
